Ford Fry Restaurants is seeking a Development Manager!
We are a collection of restaurants – each with a unique personality and culinary identity – Ford Fry Restaurants “strikes a timeless, emotional chord for guests and doesn’t pander to trend.” Chef-owner Ford Fry fosters a passion for good food and even better service, to create an elevated level of service and exceptional dishes made with local ingredients and a high attention to detail. Our full roster of restaurants includes JCT. Kitchen & Bar, Marcel, the Optimist, King + Duke, St. Cecilia, BeetleCat, no. 246, Superica, the El Felix, State of Grace, La Lucha and Little Rey (debuts spring 2019).
Assist the Director of Development with daily management, coordination and completion of new projects to meet time and cost objectives.
Assist the DD with coordination and completion of CapEx projects to meet time and cost objectives.
Possess the ability to interact with Operations Team, Architects/Engineers, Contractors and Vendors with positive results.
Assist the DD with scheduling, estimating and accounting functions.
Posses the ability to work independently on multiple projects while achieving desired results.
Understand and effectively manage the expectations of Ford Fry Restaurants on all projects.
Work closely with Operations Team to ensure smooth transition of projects from construction to turnover.
Willingness to travel to remote construction sites as needed to oversee construction progress and effectively communicate updates/concerns to the DD
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 3 years construction experience, specifically in restaurant/food service.
Comprehensive understanding of construction documents (schedules, submittals, RFI’s, etc).
Excellent communication skills
Preferred experience in Project Management/Supervision
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects at the same time.
Excellent organizational skills
