o ya restaurant is hiring a Host
 
o ya, an award-winning contemporary Japanese restaurant in the Leather District near South Station, is hiring a part-time host/hostess. This is an opportunity to join a small but dynamic team dedicated to curating a special experience for each of our guests. Responsibilities include all elements of making and confirming reservations, welcoming guests to the space and to their table, coat check, and anticipating and fulfilling our guests’ needs. Experience with Japanese cuisine, fine dining, and Open Table (or the like) is strongly preferred; however, we are seeking first and foremost a genuinely gracious individual with a warm, service-oriented attitude.
o ya is open for dinner only, Tuesday through Saturday, closed on Sunday and Monday. The available shifts are up to two a week, to start, from 4:00PM until close, with potential for more shifts as the team needs coverage. For more information about the restaurant, visit oyarestaurantboston.com.
