Job Details
 Growing restaurant group with a Catering division is currently looking to add aCatering Chef to our growing Catering Division. Qualified candidates must have at least 5 years experience in Catering for both on and off-site events. Candidates with proven books of business and a following will be compensated!

The  Catering Chef will work closely with our Catering Director and Events Director to establish new lines of business and maintain relationships with existing clientele. Must have a vision and desire to grow. This position is bonus eligible and the growth of the division directly impacts compensation!

Responsibilities include managing the commissary kitchen team to include efficient staffing, employee development and training, performance management and policy enforcement Participates in food preparation during meal periods. Maintains clean and sanitary food preparation and storage areas at all times in accordance with state and local sanitation requirements and codes. Makes purchasing decisions (food, paper goods, supplies) for the events, ensuring budgetary considerations. Develops strategies for increasing sales and profitability within management scope. Prepares the weekly kitchen work schedules. Provides for the timely repair, maintenance, and upkeep of all kitchen equipment and/or mechanical systems. Develops and implements new kitchen policies as required. Promotes and maintains the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs.
