Abe Fisher, a restaurant from the award-winning group behind CookNSolo Restaurants co-owned by Mike Solomonov and Steve Cook, is hiring a fired-up Sous Chef to join their team.


This individual will be a part of a culinary team that is committed to cooking with high execution and presentation standards.  Candidates value what their cooking brings to the guest experience. They are comfortable working in an open kitchen, and are self-motivated to handle high-volume dinner service.  Candidates must be skilled in managing a small kitchen team with effective communication skills.


Sous chef responsibilities include: managing product ordering; menu development; upholding and maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment; managing a kitchen team; and scheduling.


The right candidate is exceedingly dependable, looking to both learn and grow every day, puts forth a great attitude, and is committed to the tight-knit team.  Two years previous experience is required.


The menu at Abe Fisher celebrates Jewish cooking in America today, with Chef/Partner Yehuda Sichel’s twists on Old-World culinary traditions.  Abe Fisher is a sister restaurant to the pioneering restaurant Zahav, as well as Dizengoff, Federal Donuts, The Rooster, and Goldie, all in Philadelphia.
