Job Details
Hewn, an artisan bakery located in Evanston, IL, is looking for an experienced and dedicated Assistant Pastry Chef, effective immediately. Applicants must have at least one year of experience working with laminated doughs and brioche. A culinary degree or equivalent experience is required.

At Hewn, we make naturally fermented artisan breads and pastries by hand, from scratch, every day. We use 100% locally sourced organic flour and grains.

We need someone who can work both independently and with a team and who is committed to producing high-quality, consistent work. This person must be willing to work early morning and weekend shifts.
