Fine & Rare is looking for an energetic, professional staff member who has an excellent track record in hospitality and who thrives to work in a fine dining environment. The focus is on professionalism and providing a superior customer experience.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;
*Able to communicate clearly.
*A minimum of 2 years experience working within fine dining establishment as a host team member.
*Excellent Customer Service Skills and ability to understand and respond to individual guests needs and requirements
*A genuine interest and understanding in food and drinks
*Exceptional communication and presentational skills
*Problem solving skills
*Ability to think on your feet and under pressure whilst maintaining a positive outlook and attention to detail
*Able to organise time effectively, forward plan and prioritise tasks to ensure workload
is balanced and urgent situations are dealt with immediately.
*Ability to multitask
*Ability to work as part of a small team and independently and use initiative
*Showing guests to tables during Dinner service
*Greeting and escorting guests with a professional and positive attitude
*Oversea the flow of guests within the restaurant
*Manage the reservations and shift team
*Maintain ambience of restaurant – lighting, music, cleanliness, hygiene
*Oversea and pro-actively deal with guest queries and complaints
*Advising guests on menus & beverage choices
*Advanced knowledge of OpenTable .
Personality: Outgoing, confident, positive, focused, mature, reliable, empathetic, attentive, discreet, responsible and accountable, team player but equally able to work independently and without supervision, well presented.
