Woodberry Kitchen relies on longstanding relationships with the growers of the Chesapeake to provide the ingredients that nourish and delight our guests. At our table, you join us in supporting thoughtful agriculture that respects the abundance and traditions of the region while helping to ensure its future.
Our Backwaiters are responsible for supporting our Servers during nightly service. Backwaiters help with table maintenance, to organize sections, present orders, and clean restaurant space before, during and after preparation for service. While backwaiter is our entry level service position it is absolutely the foot in the door to the possibility of growth within our family and has previously led to promotions into server, bartender and management positions in the past. A confident, warm persona, dedication to sustainably sourced product, and identification with empathetic service are a must for this and all guest facing service positions at Woodberry.
