FULL-TIME EVENT MANAGER/SUPERVISOR FOR HIGH-END CATERING COMPANY
Feast Your Eyes Catering is a top shelf, Philadelphia-based catering company looking to recruit a seasoned, friendly, and polished event supervisor/lead server for our busy Fall/Winter season. Great hourly pay, health/dental/PTO, paid vacation, guaranteed full-time hours.
The successful candidate for this position will possess at least 5 years of solid hospitality management/customer service experience, along with the following traits:
***High-end, off-premise catering experience
***Food safety training
***TIPS/RAMP Certification
***Strong customer service skills
***Valid driver’s license (helpful, not required)
***Great availability (including nights, weekends, a share of holidays)
***The ability to take direction and remain teachable
***Polished, professional appearance
***Confident, positive, and team-oriented leadership style.
***Has no difficulty walking or standing for long periods of time
***The ability to lift at least 40lbs
Candidates must have experience running on and off-premise events from start to finish, including interaction with client hosts. The talent to lead a team effectively – in the areas of logistics, time management, and people skills – is a must. Experience in events larger than 100 guests is a plus but not a requirement. More than any other talent or skill, a successful candidate must have what restaurateur Danny Meyer's calls "The Hospitality Gene"; we want staff who're driven to make guests thrilled to be at a Feast event.
