Folkart Restaurant Management is looking for a GM to manage a new brew pub project.
Job Description: Overseeing the efficient operation of the brew pub: exceptional service, staff training, meeting budgeted revenues and expenses, managing guest compliments and complaints. Craft beer knowledge preferred
Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional service and product by effectively training, motivating employees. Managing all aspects of the business: budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, costing food and beverage items and events, excellent maintenance of front and back of house space, cleanliness. Responsible to meet or exceed budgeted revenues, while in line or under in expenses. Actively search for product and service improvements as well as ways to generate new business. Must be polished, professional, warm, and hospitable
Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
College degree, preferable in hotel and restaurant management. 5 years of management experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting,
3 years as an outlet manager.
Thorough knowledge of excellent service, cost control in F&B, labor control, menu writing, maintenance, and merchandising.
Proven ability to lead by example and foster mentoring relationships.
Proven ability to learn and adapt to new things.
Outstanding verbal and multi-tasking skills.
