Job Details

Twain, opening at 2445 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago, is a Midwestern restaurant that celebrates our heritage and the tradition of passing down recipes in families. Taking inspiration from colloquial midwestern cookbooks and his own life growing up in Central Missouri, Chef Tim Graham is presenting food that will honor the people that built and fed the Midwest over the last centuries. House baked breads, homemade braunschweiger and chicken and dumplings are a few of the items that represent our menu.
Twain means “double” or “two of a kind”. Historically the term “Marking Twain” was a way of measuring two fathoms of depth on the Mississippi River, a place where a river boat could pass. In this we are doing the same, marking passage from the past to the present.

Twain, a new restaurant in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood, is currently seeking applicants for Host positions. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of one year of experience in a fast paced, high-volume and fine dining environment, work well under pressure, be organized and on time, and maintain a positive and team-oriented attitude. • Have a genuine interest in guests experience and to be attentive and proactive as you attend to their needs.
  • Be on time for all pre-shift, and staff meetings.
