Elske is a Michelin starred restaurant from James Beard Finalist Chefs David and Anna Posey, and fellow One Off vet and Violet Hour opening bartender Kyle Davidson. Our focus is on our affordable and modern tasting menu, while also featuring a small a la carte menu and casual ambiance. The blended dynamic of our very high standards and fast pace needs to be deftly handled by combining experience from fine dining and volume service.
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate candidate to fill a full time Server Assistant/Backwatier position with dinner services Wednesday through Sunday. Tips are pooled and backwaiters receive a percentage of the tip total.
Duties include: -Greeting and starting guests at the table. -Receiving the order from the server, and correctly preparing tables for each course. -Responsible for coffee and tea service. -Clearing tables and communicating with front server about timing. -Must know each dish on the tasting and a la carte menu and their service requirements. -Being able to assist with what is needed for service in any given moment.
We will be offering extensive training in coffee and tea service, fine dining and volume service techniques, and any and all aspects of food and beverage preparation.
