EXECUTIVE CHEF for OFF PREMISE CATERING
We are a New York City based off-premise catering company and are seeking an Executive Chef to join our team and oversee the culinary operations of the company.  We cater events all over NYC and The Hamptons.

-The ideal candidate should have a solid culinary background in special events catering, with a desire and passion to create beautiful, great tasting food. The Executive Chef will work closely with the owner to develop food & beverage menus for small and large scale weddings, dinners and cocktail events as well as corporate and social drop off catering.  This is also an opportunity for creative freedom to drive the direction of our food and drink and menus. 

-Be a team player with top notch communication skills.  Chef will hire, train, supervise and manage kitchen staff.

-Organize logistics and prepare food for events.

-Costing, ordering and receiving of all food and supplies. Some “hand shopping” required.

-Manage food/labor budgets for all events.

-Maintain all NYC health code and food safety regulations.

-Minimum 3 years experience as an Executive Chef with an on/off premise catering company or hotel banquet facility.

-Culinary degree preferred but not required

-Must have flexibility with schedule requirements. Evenings/weekend/some holiday work will be required.

-Bilingual (Spanish/English) helpful but not required

Salary & Benefits:

-Competitive compensation package and bonus in the $90-100k per year range.
