Dizengoff Philly, a traditional Israeli-style hummusiya, is seeking a counter cashier/ food runner!
Applicants must be able to handle high volumes of customers, be ready to work hard and multi-task, stay organized, and possess a knack for quick service hospitality. Our chef-driven menu is small and centered around hummus platters, seasonal vegetable and meat toppings, fresh-baked pita, and Israeli chopped salad. Our food is not only inspired by the diverse and complex cuisine of Israel and the Middle East, but also by our sister restaurant, the James Beard-nominated restaurant, Zahav.
We host a very busy lunch business, so counter employees must possess an upbeat attitude, be ready to wear many hats, and work well in a highly-focused team setting in order to best serve our regular and rookie customers.
The CookNSolo restaurant group was born and bred in Philadelphia and founded by Steven Cook and Chef Michael Solomonov. Comprised of Zahav, Abe Fisher, Dizengoff Philly, Dizengoff NYC, Federal Donuts, Goldie, and Rooster Soup Company, we aim to dish up innovative, unique, high-quality food, and exceptional hospitality.

Dizengoff is an authentic, Israeli-style hummusiya (hummus stall) serving freshly-made hummus topped with rotating seasonal garnishes like hot spiced lamb with pine nuts or avocado with peanut harissa – accompanied by hearth-baked pita, chopped salad, and Israeli pickles. A Lemonnana, which is an ultra refreshing Israeli-style frozen mint lemonade along with local craft beer wash down a vibrant and healthful meal that is a staple of every slice of Israeli society.
