Bavette's Bar & Boeuf is hiring a Beverage Manager to join the team. The famed Chicago restaurant, owned by Brendan Sodikoff, is heralded as one of the top steakhouses in the country. The restaurant is part of Hogsalt Hospitality, which includes Au Cheval, Doughnut Vault, Gilt Bar, Green Street Smoked Meats, High Five Ramen, Maude’s Liquor Bar and 3 Greens Market. Salary based on leadership experience. 

Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a passion for all things food and beverage. Has an ability to positively lead others while multi-tasking and prioritizing workloads. Must believe in quality by consistently upholding defined standards over time. Able to provide guidance and support for employees, is involved in the day to day operations of the Front of House, and collaborates and communicates with Back of House team to create genuine guest experiences.

Bavette’s Bar & Boeuf serves timeless steakhouse fare. Guests can indulge in seafood towers, richly flavorful ribeyes, classic side dishes and house made desserts, including chocolate cream and lemon meringue pies. Guests can also enjoy classic cocktails and a well-curated international wine list.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in full service restaurants.
  • Experience with coffee service operations.
  • Open availability.
  • Flexible and willingness to adapt to ongoing changes.
  • Able to inspire, motivate, and develop employees.
  • Proven track record in building high-performing teams.
  • Budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • Problem solver.
  • Professional and confident verbal and written communication with guests, employees and ownership.
