Raised on hip-hop, rock & roll, and late night after-parties, DOAP Kitchens understands the importance of having good food when and where you want it. DOAP Kitchens is a multi-platform, on-demand food delivery service launching August 15, 2018. We are a small, but highly motivated and driven team, providing an innovative platform in which to experience high quality food, and plan to be state-by-state within 3-5 years.

We are looking for a highly motivated Executive Sous Chef/Sous Chef seeking experience in the Start-up, Technology and Food & Beverage verticals. We are based in Los Angeles (Silicon Beach). The ideal Executive Sous Chef/Sous Chef is excited about the new growth in the food and technology industry. But also has interests and a passion for a lifestyle that lends itself to DOAP'ness. Opportunities to grow within the company are exponential. Must have flexible hours and start-up mentality.

The Executive Sous Chef/Sous Chef main responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership and clear communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Assist in managing inventory and managing food preparation
  • Portion sizes correctly and assist in controlling food costs
  • Ordering food and beverage supplies through our purveyors
  • Abiding by the Health Department rules and regulations
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring and training kitchen staff
  • Assist in daily inspection of supplies, equipment and work areas



  • Must have a High School Degree
  • 4+ years of Kitchen experience
  • Must have a Driver’s License
  • Understanding of P&L’s
  • Must have an understanding of POS systems
  • Experience with working and maintaining relationships with vendors is a +
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
