We won Chicago Reader’s Best Pop-Up in 2023, and have been featured in Chicago Magazine (and again in this helpful article about knowing your oysters) and Time Out Chicago.
The company started in 2021, during the covid lockdown, when Chicagoans were searching for oysters with restaurants and raw bars closed. Around this time, Mico, our founder, also started getting into motorcycle repair to keep busy when he wasn’t cooking professionally. To support our friends and family at Fishers Island Oyster Farm in the Long Island Sound, New York, we started selling oysters directly to customers with delivery on this motorcycle.
This year, we are focusing on our residency at Easy Does It, and doing less pop-ups elsewhere. We will be offering a menu of raw bar and substantial entree offerings 5 days a week at the renowned wine bar on Milwaukee Ave.
