Founded in the summer of 2008, by brother and sister team, Chris “Ted” Jackson and Michelle Mannix - Ted & Honey prides itself on made from scratch fare using pastured, hormone free meat and dairy products and local produce. We know our farmers and partners and love working with companies with aligned values.
We make all of our own baked goods and source our bread from neighborhood bakery Caputo’s – a family owned business that has been in Carroll Gardens for almost 100 years. Our signature Ted & Honey coffee comes from another local favorite – Locally owned Italian family business – D’Amico’s and has been down the block from Caputo’s for almost as long as they have.
Chris “Ted” moved back to his southern roots in the summer of 2014. Brandon Byrd, the Executive Chef is currently at the Helm for Ted & Honey and
Parker Red – our full service catering and events division. Brandon comes to us with experience from Momofuko Noodle Bar, Dinner Lab, Aliseo, and Lenior Restaurant in Austin, Texas. Brandon hails from Texas so we’re not worried about our BBQ!
