Welcome to The Hive Front of House! We are a healthy superfood café known for our acai bowls. We are looking for motivated people to have an impact on the future of the brand. Base pay starts at $16 but you get $4.50 in tips per hour per team member. If your tips fall short of this, we will make up the difference ourselves, so the minimum you will make is $20.50 per hour. It's not all butterflies and rainbows. We definitely hustle to get orders out in a timely manner and make customers feel happier than when they walked in.

As the first face a customer sees, you represent their first impression of the entire business and can make or break their experience. Your job is not “cashier”. It is somewhere between a pharmacist, a talk show host, and a brand manager who happens to know how to work a register. Our customers are our friends. If you’re a social butterfly with a personality bubblier than champagne after a F1 race, this job is for you. Your main responsibility is customer happiness. A secondary component of this job is handling payments, taking guests’ food orders, expediting food orders, quality control, making drinks, bagging takeout orders and cleaning tables.

A great FOH team member shows a true passion for people, an ability to stay calm under pressure, and a sense of accountability to their teammates. They hustle and communicate as a high-functioning team player. A passion for wellness, fitness, and nutrition is a big plus.
