I am opening a farm-to-table cafe in Benton Harbor, MI - an area that is essentially a food desert as there aren't very many other places in area to eat. My goal is to offer nourishing food to the locals while supporting local farmers. The place itself is located in the middle of the Benton Harbor Fruit Market (wholesale produce market) and is very informal. The food, however, will definitely be something that most people in the area have never even dreamed of. I am looking to hire a line cook/sous chef to work side by side with me in the kitchen who is passionate, motivated and is looking to grow with the business, as the potential is very high. Officially opening for business second week of May, looking for someone to start around May 12th (interviews before and will select you for a trail only if I think you're qualified - paid, of course).
